MRT Jakarta is an underground railway station located in the heart of Jakarta. The purpose of this project is to create a better UX design for the company’s website.

How to create a useful web experience based on the user’s need.

Improve and redesign the user experience with an updated aesthetic.

Current problem
• Oversimplification
• Not human-centered design. Did not answer to the user’s needs.
• No hierarchy or prioritization.
User Persona
Key insights during this process is that most people don’t really look at the live time schedule but would prefer to see the list of the train availability.
Another thing worth mentioning is that a lot of people didn’t realize that MRT Jakarta has an app or a website.

Changing the style of wording and fine-tuning the size has been quite a challenge in this project. The left side is the first draft and the right side is the final design.
Final Design
In the final design, I took a consideration that most people would need to know the weather since most of them commute by walk.
